My Medicare Registration
Have you registered the general practice you regularly attend with your ‘Home Clinic’ under MyMedicare?
MyMedicare is a voluntary patient registration system and aims to formalise the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner (GP) and primary care teams.
Registration with MyMedicare has the potential to enable higher rebates* and therefore the potential for lower healthcare costs.
You can complete a registration through your Medicare Online Portal or the Medicare Express Plus App on your phone.

Chinchilla Medical PracticeNeed to address chronic pain, chronic disease or the risk of falls?
Kathleen is an experienced Exercise Physiologist offering support in injury rehabilitation, strength and balance training, chronic disease management, diabetes education, and Pilates.
Her warm, approachable nature and evidence-based care make her a wonderful addition to our team.
Kathleen will be seeing patients at our practice, with referrals accepted via GPMP, DVA, NDIS and Private Health.
She also provides exercise physiology services for the PHN metabolics programme.

Anthea Sutter
CNS CDE - Diabetes Educator
Chinchilla Medical PracticeAnthea completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education & Management through the Southern Cross University and became credentialled in 2022.
Her interest in this field started when her son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in his early teens, from which Anthea has grown a passion for educating and providing patients with the tools to manage their diabetes.
With a deeply embedded background in rural Australia, Anthea particularly enjoys supporting patients in rural areas by providing individualised care to reach their goals.
Hanna Gresham-Britt
APD - Dietician
Chinchilla Medical PracticeHannah is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in the management of diabetes. After graduating from the University of Wollongong in NSW, she moved to Toowoomba to work in the community.
Her goals in seeing patients are to help people manage their diet to maximise their health and enjoyment of food, and to cultivate a healthy relationship with food.
In addition to diabetes care, she is interested in helping people with coeliac disease and cardiovascular health issues.

Kathleen (Katie) Gale

Chinchilla Medical PracticeKatie grew up just outside of Miles, and is returning to the region all the way from Tasmania.
She studied at Australian Catholic University in Brisbane while working for three years as a sports trainer for a local AFL team. Since graduating, she has spent the last 5 years working in private practice in Toowoomba and more recently Hobart.
Katie considers herself a generalist physio – she has experience in general musculoskeletal injuries, acute and chronic conditions, healthy aging and neurological conditions. She has additional training in strength and conditioning, Pilates and dry needling. Her priority is helping YOU get YOU better – the more you understand your injury or condition, the more confident you can be in your own management plan. Katie will read you the map directions, but you’ll be driving!
In her spare time, Katie will likely be checking out the outdoors in her campervan “Cecil”, or back on the family farm with her nieces and nephews.
